Baby weaning and children’s meals

Every recipe in the above drop-down categories is full of flavour and can also be enjoyed by grown ups. Most babies will happily eat flavoursome foods seasoned with herbs, spices and pepper (not salt, stock cubes or bouillon) from almost the word go, and there’s no reason they can’t enjoy almost the same range of flavours as an adult from seven months or so.

Many recipes are also adaptable to be either finger food or mashed/whizzed to varying degrees of smoothness, depending on your weaning approach and your little one’s preferences.

See this post for a basic introduction to weaning, but do remember that government guidelines are that babies should be fed exclusively on breast milk or formula for the first six months.
